It's an NFC East battle to open this season's Sunday Night Football slate. Polymarket pricing leans toward the Cowboys getting the win over the Giants in a game that's set to attract significant trading volume.

The first Sunday Night Football game of the 2026 season features the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

John Harbaugh will be making his coaching debut for the Giants after nearly two decades in Baltimore. The Cowboys will try to get off on the right foot and snap a two-year streak of playoff misses.

Prediction markets, including Polymarket, will offer trading opportunities on every NFL game throughout the season.

Cowboys vs. Giants prediction market preview

Dallas has owned New York in recent years, winning nine out of the last 10 games between the NFC East rivals. Unfortunately, for the Cowboys, the Giants ended their playoff hopes the last time out with a 34-17 win in Week 18. There are no major injury concerns for either team heading into the season opener.

Harbaugh’s arrival as head coach in New York could help the Giants turn the tables – in time. Dallas head coach Brian Schottenheimer returns all 11 starters on offense. The revamped defense is expected to be much improved under new coordinator Christian Parker.

Dallas QB Dak Prescott has explosive wide receivers in Cee Dee Lamb and George Pickens. The talent gap between these two teams is reflected in the 60% implied probability that Dallas will win. Current pricing suggests the Cowboys, who averaged 27.7 points per game last season, may prevail in a higher-scoring game.

Cowboys vs. Giants player props on Polymarket

Polymarket also offers several player props for Cowboys vs. Giants, including the following markets:

  • Anytime TDs
  • Passing TDs
  • Passing Yards
  • Receiving Yards
  • Rushing Yards

Prescott leads one of the NFL’s most high-octane offenses. He threw for 30 TDs last season. At 55%, Polymarket traders give him a solid chance of throwing at least a pair of TD passes.

On the other side of the field, Jaxson Dart leads the New York offense as a true dual-threat quarterback. The former Ole Miss standout rushed for 487 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie a season ago, eclipsing 30 rushing yards in eight of 12 starts. His implied “Yes” probability to exceed that mark against the Cowboys rose from 52% to 54% in the last 24 trading hours.
