NFL Week 2 Odds: Daily Predictions and Lines

Week 2 of the 2026 NFL regular season kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 17. The slate opens with Lions 41% (+144) vs. Bills 60% (-150) on Thursday Night Football in Buffalo. Sunday Night Football will see Colts 30% (+233) vs. Chiefs 71% (-245), with Giants 21% (+376) vs. Rams 80% (-400) closing the week on Monday Night Football.

Week 2 odds and predictions

Detroit Lions @ Buffalo Bills | Thursday, Sept. 17 | 8:15 p.m. ET | Prime Video | Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY |

Buffalo enters its home opener as a 60% favorite, with Detroit at 41%. The early spread has the Bills favored by more than a field goal, while the over/under of 52.5 points suggests the scoreboard could be active on Thursday night. It’s a headline showdown for the first short-week matchup of the season, featuring two potential contenders.

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 1 p.m. ET | FOX | Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA |

The first NFC South game on the Week 2 schedule is also the tightest early moneyline. Carolina holds only a 52% to 50% edge over Atlanta, leaving little separation between the division rivals. The market could react quickly once we gain more clarity on the Falcons QB situation following a spate of injuries.

Houston is a modest 55% favorite in an early matchup between two AFC teams with postseason expectations. Cincinnati sits at 47% in early pricing as they hit the road for a stiff test. The matchup pits what’s expected to be one of the league’s top passing attacks against the stout Houston defense.

Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 1 p.m. ET | CBS | Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL |

Baker Mayfield is scheduled to face the franchise that selected him first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. Tampa Bay is a clear 75% favorite against Cleveland at 25%, one of the wider gaps on the Week 2 board. The matchup sees a Buccaneers team with postseason expectations welcoming a Browns squad looking ahead to better days.

Green Bay Packers @ New York Jets | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 1 p.m. ET | FOX | MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ |

Green Bay is priced as a 69% road favorite, while the Jets are at 33% for their home opener. The Packers will travel to MetLife Stadium as one of the week’s larger favorites despite playing on the road. Green Bay enters the season with expectations of contending in the NFC, while the Jets will get an early test against one of the conference’s more complete rosters.

Baltimore is an 81% favorite against New Orleans at 19%, giving the Ravens one of the strongest positions on the Week 2 menu. The matchup sends the Saints on the road against a Baltimore team expected to again contend near the top of the AFC. New Orleans will have its hands full trying to slow Lamar Jackson and a Ravens offense that presents matchup problems.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tennessee Titans | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 1 p.m. ET | FOX | Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN |

Philadelphia is one of the stronger favorites on the Week 2 board at 76%, with Tennessee at 25% for its home date with the Eagles. Protecting the quarterback is one of the biggest challenges for the Titans against a Philadelphia defense built to generate pressure and disrupt opposing offenses. Tennessee will need to hold up against that front to give itself a chance against a potential NFC East contender.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 1 p.m. ET | CBS | Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA |

New England is a 62% favorite despite opening the season with a 13-10 loss to Seattle. The Patriots will look to rebound at home after struggling to generate offense in the opener, while Pittsburgh comes to Foxborough for an early AFC matchup. New England’s ability to find more consistency offensively will be one of the key storylines heading into Week 2.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 4:05 p.m. ET | CBS | Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO |

Denver is a 55% favorite at home, with Jacksonville at 46% in one of the more competitive non-divisional games on the Week 2 board. The matchup brings together two teams looking to establish themselves as playoff contenders in the AFC. Both reached the postseason last year, with Jacksonville exiting in the Wild Card round and Denver advancing to the AFC Championship Game.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 4:05 p.m. ET | CBS | SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA |

The AFC West matchup pairs two reworked offenses, with Kirk Cousins and first-year head coach Klint Kubiak leading Las Vegas while Justin Herbert adjusts to new Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. Raiders tight end Brock Bowers was ruled out of Week 1 with a knee injury. Los Angeles enters the matchup as a 71% favorite in an early divisional game between longtime AFC West rivals.

Miami is beginning a new era under head coach Jeff Hafley and quarterback Malik Willis, with six rookies listed as starters on the team’s first depth chart. San Francisco already has a division win after beating the Rams 27-7, while new receiver Mike Evans immediately gave Brock Purdy another red-zone threat with six catches and a touchdown. The 49ers enter Week 2 as the strongest favorite on the board at 86%, setting up a difficult early test for Miami’s new-look roster.

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 4:25 p.m. ET | FOX | State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ |

Seattle enters this NFC West matchup 1-0 after rallying past New England 13-10, but starting quarterback Sam Darnold’s hip injury is an early Week 2 concern. Tests showed no fracture, with Drew Lock available if Darnold is unable to play. Arizona begins the Mike LaFleur era with Jacoby Brissett installed as QB1, while Seattle enters the divisional matchup as a heavy 84% favorite.

Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 4:25 p.m. ET | FOX | AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX |

This early NFC East meeting gives Jayden Daniels his first look at a rebuilt Dallas defense under first-year coordinator Christian Parker. The Cowboys are expected to remain without standout left guard Tyler Smith, whose thumb injury carried a four-to-six-week recovery estimate entering the season. Dallas is still a 70% favorite against Washington at 31% in the first of two meetings between the longtime division rivals.

Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs | Sunday, Sept. 20 | 8:20 p.m. ET | NBC | GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO |

Both starting quarterbacks are returning from major 2025 injuries, with Daniel Jones back from a torn Achilles and Patrick Mahomes returning from a torn ACL. Both were cleared for the start of the season, adding another layer to an early AFC matchup between two veteran quarterbacks. Kansas City also added reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to its backfield and enters Week 2 as a 71% favorite against Indianapolis at 30%.

New York Giants @ Los Angeles Rams | Monday, Sept. 21 | 8:15 p.m. ET | ESPN/ABC | SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA |

The Rams return home looking to respond after a 27-7 opening loss to San Francisco in Melbourne. Whether Aaron Donald makes his return from retirement against New York remains a major storyline after Sean McVay held him out of Week 1 and said he should be ready “sooner rather than later.” The Giants begin a new chapter under John Harbaugh and second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart, while Los Angeles enters the matchup as a heavy 80% favorite.

Notable Week 2 line moves

The largest tracked adjustment is Eagles–Titans. Philadelphia has strengthened from 66% to 76% against Tennessee.

The Patriots–Steelers market has also moved in Pittsburgh’s direction, with New England down from 68% to 62% and Pittsburgh up from 33% to 38%.

Los Angeles has fallen from 76% to 71% against Las Vegas, while San Francisco has moved from 83% to 86% against Miami.

NFL futures market outlook

The Los Angeles Rams remain the leading Super Bowl outcome on Kalshi at 11.5%, but that is down from 16.5% on Sept. 5 after their 27-7 loss to San Francisco. The 49ers moved from 4.5% to 7.5% over the same period, behind Buffalo at 8.5% and ahead of Baltimore and Seattle at 6.5%.

The NFL MVP market remains crowded. Lamar Jackson leads at 11.5%, followed by Josh Allen and Caleb Williams at 10.5%. Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert are at 9.5%. Brock Purdy has risen from 4.5% on Sept. 5 to 5.5% after San Francisco’s season-opening win, while Drake Maye has moved from 6.5% to 5.5% following New England’s 13-10 loss to Seattle.
