The Kalshi promo code RATE gets new accounts a bonus of up to $500. You only need $25 in event contract trades to trigger it. Nothing else. This is a variable bonus offer available for July 25.
The timing works for UFC Fight Night Abu Dhabi, which runs today from Etihad Arena. Early prelims open at 9 a.m. ET and the main card starts at 12 p.m. ET on Paramount+. Magomed Ankalaev is an 82¢ favorite over Bogdan Guskov in the light heavyweight main event.

Kalshi promo code offer: up to $500 bonus for Ankalaev vs. Guskov
The bonus amount is variable. Kalshi decides what you get inside the range once you clear the trading threshold, and $500 is the ceiling rather than the expectation. What is fixed is the requirement: $25 traded, code entered at registration.
Settlement does not factor in. Buy Ankalaev at 82¢ and watch him grind out five rounds, and you collect on the contract plus the bonus. Buy the same side and watch Guskov land the knockout that his 19¢ price is built on, and the contract dies while the bonus still lands. Kalshi is paying you for the volume, not the result.
Key promo terms and conditions:
- The bonus is variable, starting at $15 and capped at $500
- $25 in trades unlocks the Kalshi bonus, spread across as many contracts as you like
- The Kalshi promo code RATE must go in during registration, and there is no way to add it later
- Bonus arrives as trading credit, so it has to be traded before any of it converts to cash you can pull out
- Profits made with bonus credit withdraw normally
- One per account, tracked by identity rather than email
- The code and a friend’s referral link are mutually exclusive
- Verify.com handles KYC and wants a photo ID plus a selfie

Which states can claim the RATE bonus
Kalshi answers to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, not state gaming regulators. Its UFC markets are event contracts under federal law, which is how the platform ended up live in states that have never legalized sports betting.
| Promo code | Where it works |
|---|---|
| RATE | AK, AL, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, ME, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY |
Note the two layers. Kalshi blocks Nevada outright. The other 11 states allow trading but sit outside the bonus offer, so accounts there fund and trade as normal without the welcome credit.
Getting the bonus before the main card
Give yourself at least five minutes to get your account up and running, less if your ID is already on your desk.
Register with code RATE. Kalshi asks for your name, email, phone, date of birth, and Social Security number. The referral field sits on the registration form. Type RATE and wait for the checkmark before you continue.
Clear identity verification. Verify.com runs it. Photo ID and a selfie, handled inside the signup flow.
Fund the account. ACH and crypto cost nothing but take time to settle. Debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay move instantly for a 2% cut, with $25 as the floor.
Place $25 in trades. Any market counts, and you can split it however you want. Put $10 on Dustin Jacoby at 63¢ against Muhammad Said, then $15 on Ankalaev at 81¢ in the main event, and you have cleared the threshold with two contracts.
Cash out later. Transfers, then Withdraw Funds. Kalshi holds debit deposits for three days and same-bank ACH for seven before releasing anything against them.
Bonus credit posts within 24 hours of the $25 clearing.
How the Kalshi offer compares
| Platform | Welcome offer | Code |
|---|---|---|
| Kalshi | Trade $25, get up to $500 | RATE |
| Polymarket | Deposit $10, get $20 trading bonus | RATE |
| FanDuel Predicts | $25 bonus on sign-up, no deposit | None |
| OG Predictions | Trade $10, get $10 | None |
Kalshi has the highest ceiling of any offer here. It is also the only one where you do not know what you are getting until it credits. FanDuel Predicts pays a flat $25 with no deposit at all. The Polymarket promo code pays a flat $20 on a $10 deposit. Compare full terms on our prediction market promos page.
Where to put your bonus on the Abu Dhabi card
Ankalaev sits at 82¢ with Guskov at 19¢. Guskov took the fight on short notice after Khalil Rountree Jr. withdrew, and traders are backing Ankalaev’s size and grappling control over five rounds.
The flyweight co-main is the closest market on the card. Ramazan Temirov is at 53¢ and Steve Erceg is at 48¢. Watch for line movement during the walkouts.
Islam Dulatov is the biggest favorite on the main card at 89¢ against Wellington Turman. Rizvan Kuniev is at 75¢ over Tyrell Fortune at 27¢ in the heavyweight bout, and heavyweight prices have a habit of not holding up. Abubakar Vagaev opens the main card at 70¢ against Saygid Izagakhmaev at 32¢, the one fight where Kalshi and Polymarket meaningfully disagree.
On the prelims, Valter Walker goes for a fifth straight heel-hook finish against Thomas Petersen, and Nurullo Aliev takes an 11-0 record into a lightweight bout with Mike Davis. Both are live for method-of-victory contracts.
Is it worth claiming
Claim it if you want a Kalshi account. The $25 requirement is easy to clear on a fight card, the trade outcome does not matter, and Kalshi pays 3.75% APY on cash and open positions once your balance hits $250. No other prediction market does that. Kalshi also has the deepest sports liquidity of the regulated exchanges, so you can sell out of a position mid-fight instead of waiting for settlement.
Do not claim it for the $500. The bonus is variable and most accounts will not see anything close to the top of the range. A flat $25 from FanDuel Predicts is worth more than a shot at $500 if a guaranteed number is what you want.
