Netherlands vs. Morocco World Cup preview

The Dutch qualified for the knockout rounds by winning Group F with a 2-1 record and seven points. The Oranje have reached the World Cup Final three times, most recently in 2010, but have yet to win the championship. Brian Brobbey leads the Dutch with three goals. The team’s best outing during group stage play was a 5-1 victory over Sweden, who also made the Round of 32.

The Atlas Lions finished second in Group C behind Brazil with a 2-1 record and seven points. Morocco tied Brazil 1-1 in group play, but a +3 goal differential, compared to +6 for the Brazilians, separated the two teams. The team has never won the World Cup. Its best showing came four years ago in Qatar when they advanced to the semifinals. Ismael Saibari leads the way with three goals.

Now that we’ve reached the knockout stages, Polymarket offers markets for both regulation time and on teams to advance. If the score is tied at the end of regulation plus stoppage, the match moves to extra time, two 15-minute halves as needed, and then to a penalty shootout if the game remains tied. The Netherlands is trading at -156 (61%) to advance and +138 (42%) to win in regulation time.

The winner of this one advances to the Round of 16 against Canada (July 4, 1 p.m. ET).
