| Separation of concerns | Advertising and commercial teams have no input into editorial content, story selection, or coverage decisions. |
Verification
Accuracy, verification, and sourcing
Every claim we publish is checked against primary sources. We don’t rely on secondary summaries when original documents are available.
| Practice | How we apply it |
|---|---|
| Primary sources | Claims verified against on-chain data, whitepapers, regulatory filings, and official platform documentation |
| Cross-verification | Multiple independent sources checked before publishing material claims |
| Direct linking | Original sources linked directly in articles β not secondary summaries or aggregated reports |
Disclosure
Opinion and disclosure
Opinion and analysis pieces are always clearly labeled and distinguished from straight reporting. When we publish forecasting or forward-looking pieces, we disclose our assumptions, methods, and limitations so readers can evaluate the analysis on its merits.
Sponsorship
Sponsored content
When content is paid for by a third party, we label it clearly and hold it to the same quality standards as our editorial work.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Explicit labeling | All sponsored content carries a visible label β “Sponsored,” “Paid Partner,” or “Advertisement” |
| Quality standards | Sponsored content meets the same editorial quality bar as non-sponsored content |
| No editorial influence | Advertisers have no control over regular editorial content, story selection, or coverage tone |
Data
Data, charts, and methodology
Our data tools and visualizations are central to what we do. We hold them to the same standard as our editorial content.
| Practice | Detail |
|---|---|
| Methodology documented | Methodology sections explain how data is collected, processed, and displayed |
| Regular refresh | Data is refreshed periodically; changes to methodology are documented |
| Attribution | Third-party data sources are named, attributed, and limitations noted |

We take errors seriously and correct them publicly. Our readers deserve to know when we get something wrong and how we’ve fixed it.

| Corrections | Noted at the top or bottom of articles with the date and description of what changed |
