Fox News Media will integrate forecast data from prediction market platform Kalshi across its news and streaming platforms, marking the company’s latest push to embed real-time probability signals into mainstream media coverage.
The agreement will bring Kalshi’s event-based forecasts to the top-rated Fox News Channel, as well as Fox Business, Fox Weather and the FOX One streaming service, where the data will appear primarily in branded on-air graphics, according to a source at Fox. The source also said the data will not be a part of the networks’ political coverage.
The integration is structured as a sponsored partnership, with editorial teams determining how the forecasts are incorporated across programming.
The deal does not extend to Fox Sports, which operates as a separate division within Fox Corporation, as was first reported by Front Office Sports in March. The exclusion is notable as sports event contracts have become a major driver of volume on Kalshi and other prediction platforms.
The Fox News Media agreement follows a series of recent media and data partnerships for Kalshi as the company expands its presence in mainstream information channels. In recent months, Kalshi has struck distribution deals with CNN and CNBC to integrate its forecast data into broadcast coverage, while also reaching an agreement with the Associated Press to license election data used to inform its markets.
Kalshi data will not be used in Fox News political and election coverage
Kalshi’s value as a data source is emphasized in a news release announcing the partnership, which states that “Kalshi data has been adopted by newsrooms to provide nonpartisan data on the likelihood of current events across politics, economics, and culture.” Around 70% of the people who check Kalshi are just checking market odds, while 30% are actively trading in the markets, the release claims.
Since the 2024 presidential election, for which Kalshi accurately reflected Donald Trump’s decisive victory, the company has often touted its forecasts as being superior to pundits and polling. In the news release, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour positioned the market data as a companion to reporting and polling data.
“More people are watching Kalshi’s forecasts than trading them, which says a lot: our data effectively complements news and polls,” Mansour said. “As misinformation grows more common, Kalshi offers accurate, unbiased data to help people better understand what’s going on in the world.”
The news release states that Kalshi will work with Fox’s data and production teams to provide “seamless data visualization around key political, economic, weather and cultural storylines.” But, according to the Fox source, the networks will not be using Kalshi data in its political and election coverage, relying instead on its own political and polling teams.
That differs from the partnership with CNN, whose chief data analyst, Harry Enten, regularly incorporates Kalshi odds during his segments on political sentiments.
Fox partnership follows similar deals with CNN, CNBC
Kalshi’s agreement with Fox News Media builds on a couple of media partnerships announced in December 2025, as the company continues expanding its data distribution.
On Dec. 2, Kalshi announced the partnership with CNN to integrate its forecast data across the network’s television, digital and social coverage, marking its first major newsroom deal. The agreement includes the use of real-time probability data in on-air graphics, digital content and newsroom tools.
Two days later, Kalshi entered into a multi-year partnership with CNBC to incorporate its data into business and financial news programming. The deal includes integration across CNBC’s television broadcasts and digital platforms, including on-air graphics and dedicated content tied to Kalshi forecasts.
CNBC has disclosed that its commercial relationship with Kalshi includes a minority investment, according to on-air and published disclosures, though financial terms of the deal have not been revealed.
News integrations boost mainstream awareness
Kalshi’s expanding slate of media partnerships positions prediction market forecasts alongside established data inputs used in coverage of economic, political and other real-world events, including polling and other analytical tools. It also provides Kalshi with significant mainstream exposure.
With event contract trading platforms referenced on everything from South Park, The Daily Show and Saturday Night Live to high-profile news outlets, public awareness of prediction markets has never been higher.
